To ensure the guest amenities match the exceptional standards of the resort experience, Focus Washrooms was appointed to deliver a comprehensive commercial washroom refurbishment across both the Male and Female facilities.

Following a complete strip-out of the original areas , our team reconfigured the layouts and introduced high-durability Solid Grade Laminate systems, modern sanitaryware, and smart water-management solutions.
The brief
Holiday park washrooms face intense demand, requiring an executive visual aesthetic that can withstand constant footfall while remaining exceptionally easy to clean. The objective at Highfield Grange was to fully modernise the sanitaryware , optimise the spatial layout , and establish a cohesive design language using high-performance, water-resistant materials.
The male washroom
The Male facility was systematically stripped back and structurally prepared to accommodate a durable, modern setup.
High-performance cubicles: We supplied and installed premium Solid Grade Laminate (SGL) toilet cubicles featuring a Timberwolf door finish with Woodland Walnut divisions and fascias. An integrated privacy screen complete with a floor-to-ceiling post was added to subtly segment the layout.
Bespoke vanity units: The handwashing area was fitted with both straight-run and corner vanity units featuring structural SGL tops in Woodland Walnut, paired with Timberwolf front panels and Elephant Grey shadow gaps. Four fully recessed basins with robust, non-concussive taps complete the stations.
Modern urinal system: The space features three 400mm back-to-wall toilet pans with concealed push-button cisterns. The urinal suite was upgraded with five bowls managed by an intelligent, ceiling-mounted battery-powered sensor flush system to optimise water conservation and maintain high hygiene standards.
Durable flooring & finishes: The subfloor was meticulously prepared with a latex screed before laying easy-clean sheet vinyl safety flooring in a Pebble finish, detailed with a site-formed coved upstand. The walls are lined with hygienic wall cladding in white, creating seamless, thermo-formed corners that transition cleanly to the floor cove.
The female washroom
The Female washroom was completely transformed into a bright, contemporary environment designed to maximize utility and handle peak holiday crowds.
Full-height duct panelling: To completely conceal unhygienic pipework and provide a flat, easy-to-clean backdrop, we installed extensive runs of full-height WC duct systems. The panels feature a beautiful Woodland Walnut tone set against Elephant Grey shadow lines.
Space-optimising corner vanities: Four heavy-duty corner vanity units were custom-configured to fit the architecture of the space perfectly. Fabricated with durable SGL tops and front panelling, these units carry the same premium Timberwolf and Woodland Walnut styling found in the male facilities.
Sanitaryware & layout upgrades: The layout houses nine back-to-wall toilet cubicle configurations, ensuring significantly expanded capacity and reduced waiting times during the park’s busiest holiday periods.
Savings
To ensure lower operational costs and a hassle-free maintenance regime, high-efficiency building services were woven into both rooms:
Energy-efficient lighting: Old light fittings were replaced with surface-mounted LED units to dramatically brighten the spaces while lowering energy draw.
Silicone & clean down: All sanitaryware installations were finished with high-performance silicone sealing to ensure a water-tight environment before our team cleared all remaining project waste.
The outcome
By utilising a robust palette of Solid Grade Laminate panels , smart automated flushing , and seamless PVC wall cladding , Focus Washrooms successfully delivered a high-end, low-maintenance environment for Highfield Grange Holiday Park. The completed facilities received exceptional feedback from the resort team, who noted a vast improvement in both function and finish and providing Parkdean Resorts guests with modern, clean amenities that match the ultimate quality of their holiday experience.
