FAQs
-
Toilet heights should be tailored to the age of the pupils to ensure comfort and independence. For Key Stage 1, we typically install pans with a height of 305mm, while for Key Stage 2, a height of 355mm is standard. This ensures that children can use the facilities safely and easily.
-
We use bright colour schemes and themed graphics to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Lower-level washbasins and easy-to-operate lever or sensor taps also help children feel more confident when using the facilities on their own.
-
In Key Stage 1, we often use lower-height cubicle doors to allow teachers to provide assistance if needed while still offering the child privacy. As pupils move into Key Stage 2, we transition to standard-height doors to reflect their growing need for personal space and independence.
